About The Voice of The Silence
Our origin
The Voice of the Silence is a project that began in October 2020. Initiated by Samantha Rodriguez Del Rio, a young mexican communications graduate and descendant of Jews from Poland who suffered in the Holocaust.
In 2016 Samantha's family discovered that much of her family had been murdered by the Nazis and that only one of the aunts, Helena Sztulman, survived the experiences of four concentration camps. So her family began an investigation that resulted in two trips to Poland and Israel in search of answers.
After this intense experience, Samantha founded The Voice of the Silence, a project to rescue and spread awareness of the Holocaust. Through interviews with survivors, researchers, authors and all kinds of personalities related to this historical event. We make the historical context known to the general public and raise awareness, promoting the values of the culture of peace.
Educate and inform about the history of the Holocaust to new generations by passing the torch, especially non-Jews, through testimonies of the witnesses themselves and their descendants.
Promote a culture of empathy, peace, tolerance and inclusion, so that a horror like World War II and Holocaust will never be repeated.
Combat prejudice and misinformation about the Holocaust, Judaism or widespread discrimination.
